| Vidarbha
Youth Welfare Society, Amravati has been duly
registered under the society registration act XXI of 1860
on 1st Day of July 1965. The society then marched
ahead under the able leadership of Prof. Ram Meghe, the
founder President of the Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society. |
The society
is now a prominent, significant and well known educational
society in the state of Maharashtra. |
The
aims and objectives behind establishing
an educational society are: |

To provide facilities
of education of the people by starting Schools,
Colleges, Hostels, Libraries and Physical, Technical
and Cultural Institutions. |

To impart, generally to the
young generation of India and in particular village
youths of the Vidarbha Districts, a liberal and
efficient, Primary, Secondary and Higher education. |
 |
To provide medical aid to
the people by establishing or taking over hospitals,
dispensaries, maternity home. |
 |
To open Residential Schools
and such other institutions as may be conductive
to the attainment to the main aims and objects of
the society as the circumstances permit. |
 |
To extend social welfare
service by organizing cultural programmes like lectures,
dramas, folk songs, etc. |
 |
Society shall strive to make
education sufficiently effective so as to place
before the students, an idea of selflessness, dignity
of labor and of earning and thereby learning. |
